It smells like my birthday

This week for girls night we went to the Lilac Dell at the Royal Botanical Gardens. We didn't want to pay the $10/head for entry, though, so we parked outside and tried to make our way over. Turns out we chose the wrong path to take.

We found the bridge to take us over the railroad tracks, but unfortunately we couldn't get to the bridge...So we climbed down to the tracks instead...
And went under the bridge.
In the end, we made it there. It smelled soo good!
I never knew there were so many different scents of lilacs! Some of them were really gross.

Amanda and Kenny make very attractive lilacs, don't you think?

Samantha and I were unsuccessful in finding lilacs that smell like Eastern Ontario lilacs. But we did smell several hundred varieties... It was pretty awesome. I'd do it again.
