Family Ties

Well, after a long hiatus, I'm back. In the past two weeks I haven't had much time to do anything other than work and watch the Olympics - luckily, much of our Olympic watching was shared with friends, so we weren't altogether anti-social. We had a lot of Olympic parties, complete with finger foods, chips, & dip. I'll probably blog on some favourite Olympic moments later, but for now, I'll put up the photos that brought me to my blogging dashboard 4 days ago when I started to write this blog. Turns out that life is still busy and exhausting even after the Games have ended!

This past Sunday, two beautiful babies were baptized - one by the name of Sara Jayne at First CRC in Hamilton, and one by the name of Silas Leonnardus at Exeter CRC in Exeter. Sadly we could not attend both baptisms, but happily we could attend the baptism of my newest little nephew!

Considering the fact that only three of the four siblings are present and neither of the parents, we're getting to be a pretty large family!
